However, I was looking for soemthing to simply sort earrings and make them easy to find each morning.This is just the ticket for that.I purchased two - one for gold and one for silver - and because the top is clear they are all easily visable.I'd buy again.

(More customer reviews)I was looking for a good looking jewelry roll to take with me to jewelry shows and the picture of this one looked pretty good.When I received it, I was very disappointed.It's cheap looking and the space where you insert ID is not even big enough for a standard business card.I really don't think this is worth $20, maybe $10.I'm thinking I could find something at the flea market for less money and have it be better looking.It might work for personal use for trips but if you want to look professional, look elsewhere.

Sterling Silver Box 20" Necklace & 1mm Gauge Review

(More customer reviews)I bought this chain for a silver pendant (appx. 1 inch high/wide) that I have, and it's the perfect width and weight. I've purchased box chains similar to this (but the next width down) from other merchants and the quality wasn't that good, so if you're thinking of buying one, I would highly recommend that you go with the 1mm thickness. It's still dainty, but that extra bit of width makes it a lot more sturdy than those that are thinner (I've gone as low as 0.5 or 0.6 mm, I think) - in my experience. The end of the chain hits midway from my neck to my bust line, so my pendant always hangs just above the neck of my tops. It's really a perfect length, though I would recommend an 18" for pendants that exceed 1.5 inches in height. Still, I've had lots of different types of chains for a wide variety of pendants over the years, and the box chain has never failed to be the most durable and flattering!

As for cleaning these types of chains, I definitely recommend that you stay away from traditional silver polish creams or pastes. You'll never get it out of the inside (or in-between crevices) of the little boxes. I learned that one the hard way. Instead, use boiling water and baking soda in a shallow, aluminum foil-lined baking dish. There are tutorials all over the web that tell you exactly how to do it. Trust me. Your hands, stress-level, and jewelry will thank you for it!!
