This is clearly a music box designed to be enjoyed by children and the construction is certainly adequate for that audience.It has a photo of a little (3 year old?) girl on the front and says on the box "Because children thrive when they are surrounded by Beauty, Truth, & Goodness."So why the lead?I'm sure my five-year-old won't be gnawing on it, but the potential for lead dust is too serious to ignore.This item will be returned.
