The quality and craftsmanship of this piece is amazing. The drawers push out when you open the top of the box extremely smoothly. I would purchase anything from this seller again! A great buy, I'm surprised they don't ask for more money!

I was so happy when I first opened the shipping box and saw that it was indeed just as beautiful as it looked in the picture. However, when I turned it over I saw a small warning sticker on the bottom of the box. It warned me that the jewelry box contained lead and should not be eaten or chewed. Fine, my daughter is past the age where she would chew on it. However, the warning continued, saying that it may generate dust containing lead. Unacceptable. I am promptly returning this jewelry box as I do not want my daughter exposed to any levels of lead knowing that lead can cause so many problems especially with learning development. No jewelry box is worth that no matter how pretty the picture.

It was supposed to be a great way to organize my jewlery, especially the necklaces which always become tangled. The product was very poor quality. The plastic inserts, much like the previous review, was hanging off and needed to be reglued. The door hinges were small and fragile which causes the doors to look uneven. Not worth the $15.

(More customer reviews)I bought this music box for my 5 year old daughter for Christmas.Although she had so many other gifts, she said that this is the best gift of them all.The pictures on the music box is beautifully colored and the quality of the workmanship is outstanding.It is nicely put together and sturdy.A lot of attention to detail was put into this box.There are four pull out drawers.A small drawer on each the right and left side.One in the front of the box (I wish the front drawer was a little deeper) and one in the back of the box.This is the reason the front drawer does not go back deeper because the bottom space is split between the front drawer and the back drawer.When you open the lid or top of the box, there is a mirror, and a white horse that spins as the music plays. To play the music you wind up or turn the gold knob at the back.A gold colored top latch, and gold round pull out knobs for the drawers completes this beautiful box.

I hemmed and hawed over buying this and one of the ones made of re-enforced cardboard or plastic, but my decision became easy when I saw some of the 'cheaply' made ones at a couple of toy stores nearby.This Lenox product was an excellent buy: metal, nice velour innards, sturdy ballerina and hinges.I'm considering buying one for my teen daughter and engraving her name on it.

My niece (5 yrs old) had received 4 ballerina jewelry boxes for Christmas, so she wasn't as thrilled with getting another when she unwrapped the one from me.My sister was thrilled though.She said she will keep the box for my niece until the others (plastic and paper) break, which won't take too long.LOL

The price is great compared to what you get with others.
Others seem to hold earrings/rings and a few bracelets, but this one holds lots of EVERYTHING, including much space for watches as well. The small travel box is cute as well for little extras!

This is a great quality piece and will hold a huge amount of my treasures while I travel!! It's velour interior is most elegant as well.I know I'll enjoy this for years to come!!
