However, I was looking for soemthing to simply sort earrings and make them easy to find each morning.This is just the ticket for that.I purchased two - one for gold and one for silver - and because the top is clear they are all easily visable.I'd buy again.

(More customer reviews)The Dahlia Silky Embroidered Brocade Jewelry Travel Organizer is well constructed, being constructed of very soft and silky material, and very beautifully embroidered.It has one full length unzippered compartment, one half length zippered compartment, two 1/4 length zippered compartments, and a ring "finger" which holds rings securely.All zippered compartments seem secure.

This is a fine product as is, and well worth the $15-$22 each.But my wife has a couple of complaints/suggestions:

There is no way, as in some other jewelry travel cases, to hold fine-chained necklaces with pendants except in a zippered compartment, out of which they come tangled and knotted.

Likewise for earrings w/ posts, there is no way to store them except loosely in a zippered compartment, in which they can slosh back and forth during travel, and out of which it is more time-consuming to select the specific earrings desired to be worn.My wife doesn't like her earrings grinding against one another during travel.

If the manufacturer could put a small strip of thin plastic, w/10 pre-punched holes in it for earrings with posts, to hold five sets, in one of the small zippered compartments, (I made one out of cardboard) then posted earrings could be stored much more safely and securely, and specific earrings can be selected more easily.

In my opinion, if Dahlia can design these additional features into their product then it will become very close to being the almost perfect jewelry travel wrap, for posted earrings, rings and necklaces w/ pendants.

(More customer reviews)This serves the purpose and nothing more.When I first received it, I tried to change the combination on the lock (per the instructions) only to have the lever you push get stuck so couldn't change the combination or close the case.My husband finally got it free, but it is still very hard to open.If I was a jewelry sales person, I would not use this case to display my wares.It looks nothing like faux leather, more like plastic-embossed covered cardboard.The only redeeming factors are that the necklace loops actually keep your necklaces untangled and there is a lot of space in the bottom to store unusually shaped jewelry.

I don't know whether the product had dry-rot in storage but three of the chain loops were ripped off quite easily within minutes of using it. The fasteners were stuck and even trying to be extremely gentle did not help after the first one ripped off. Don't like it at all!

The price is great compared to what you get with others.
Others seem to hold earrings/rings and a few bracelets, but this one holds lots of EVERYTHING, including much space for watches as well. The small travel box is cute as well for little extras!

This is a great quality piece and will hold a huge amount of my treasures while I travel!! It's velour interior is most elegant as well.I know I'll enjoy this for years to come!!
