(More customer reviews)They say this is blue and white.... mine was dark green and gold. There was no blue or white on this whatsoever! I am returning this since these colors do not go in my house. I know when you order of the computer there is some color shift but this wasn't even in the ballpark. The green and gold is so dark that you can't even see the handpaintings of leaves and flowers unless you shine a flashlight on it and really look for it. Too bad it wasn't as pictured becaue what is pictured is really pretty. This thing is so big that it is going to be such a pain to pack it back up and get it to the UPS office... what a pain.

(More customer reviews)Absolutely wonderful.I was looking for a jewelry armoir that had a look that was similiar to our bedroom set.This was definitely the right choice.The armoir looks like a custom piece of furniture!There is an amazing amout of storage.The quality of the wood and the construction of the piece are really good.The inside is completely finished and all of the many compartments are cleanly and completely lined.You have to screw the four feet, the drawer knobs, and the top lid on when it arrives.That was easy to do and only required a screwdriver for the lid. It is well worth the money.

(More customer reviews)The armoire was incredibly well packed with several layers of protection. It arrived pre-assembled except for the mirror top which was easily installed. The finish on the furniture is very good. I had a small problem with the side doors but not enough to matter to me. The left door has to be pushed really hard for the magnet to catch. The magnet probably needs adjustment. The right door worked fine but within 2 weeks the bottom part began to stick out about a quarter of an inch when closed.

The Powell furniture people were most helpful when I called. They are sending a new door because they feel this one may be warped. All and all I love the armoire and would recommend it to anyone else.

(More customer reviews)This item is wonderful!It fits most of my jewelry comfortably.I have far more earrings and less rings than the armoire holds, but the ring cushions work fine for poking in studs and other straight-back earrings.I also removed two of the lower trays and instead am using the metal supports for the trays to hang bracelets from.The only items I cannot fit in this armoire are my bangles.
The amoire is sturdy.The jewelry stays put when the door it is hanging from is opened and closed.

(More customer reviews)This jewelry cabinet exceeded my expectations.It is well-constructed and quite a sturdy piece.It comes with two screws and those plastic wall anchors.It's heavy and will require 2 people to hang it, so if you're not mounting it in a wall stud, then I'd recommend using a sturdier wall anchor made of metal to ensure your purchase doesn't end up on the floor.

Even though I was aware that it was 48" tall, it was taller than I expected when I saw it in person.It's not too big, just bigger than I had imagined.The inside is lined with felt and is well-done.The cabinet locks if you desire to lock it.The mirror is nicely beveled.It holds many necklaces, rings, dangle earrings, and has a divided tray that sits in the bottom for small earrings and such.Overall, the jewelry cabinet is well-made and sturdy. I was definitely pleased with the purchase.

(More customer reviews)This is a beautiful product. It is even nicer in person than the photo. The green tint is a very very light one. All of the drawers are quite roomy and the side compartments for necklaces holds many necklaces. So here's the catch. The quality is questionable. Now the actual unit is made out of sturdy material and looks like it will not scratch easy but I did have a problem with the first unit that was delivered. The corner piece was pushed in. The company backed their product and immediately issued a return and shipped out a second unit. The second unit has a dent on the interior of the drawer and the magnet on one side of the necklace compartment. But even with these small issues, I loved the end product so much I chose to overlook the small issues.

(More customer reviews)Just received this item.Comes almost completely assembled- only have to attach the feet and the lid. Not sure if it's a common defect but mine has one drawer not quite matching the curve of the rest.Wood is very nice and not like many of those MDF material made versions you run across in these pieces.Lots of room and lining is very nice felt material.Minor suggested improvements would be to have it where the side doors had stops to keep doors from opening too far back.Also, if the lid arm mechanism had tension spring to force it to lock into the position locks along the slide rather than having to manually pull up on the arm to get it to lock.This piece very well matches our bedroom furniture and we even have other furniture made by this same manufacturer that are very good pieces.All in all, a very nice jewelry armoire and at the $200 price point is a fair price- can't say it'd be worth it the list price of $565!

(More customer reviews)This item turned into a fiasco.Not only did it not ship on time (Christmas gift), it also traveled from coast to coast before finally arriving nearly 4 weeks late at my daughter's home in League City, TX, in shambles.When she opened the crushed box, the armoire was in pieces.I had to order another one from a different source.The new one was delivered on time and in one piece, but by this time, it was long after Christmas.I'll not be using Amazon.com in the future.
