If you are hunting for a gift for someone, these are perfect. You will not be disappointed, and they will be thrilled!!I am 34, and think these are also an ideal size for any age. Wonderful for a young woman to start a jewelry collection, and equally substantial in size for a career woman to wear with a suit or dress. They definitely are 9-10mm as promised.

Sterling Silver White Freshwater Cultured Pearl A Grade 6.5-7mm Necklace, 60" Review

(More customer reviews)I do have several necklaces with one pearl set in a pendant with other stones, but I didn't have a full pearl necklace. So when I saw this offered as an Amazon Lightning Deal recently I decided to buy it.

When I received it I was very pleased with the quality, size and luster of the pearls. I looked closely and I wasn't able to see any imperfections with my naked eye. The clasp used is made with sterling silver and very secure. I've played around with several different ways to wear this length and so far I like the way it looks wrapped twice, with one length hanging slightly lower than the other. (I added a picture to the customer images) It's also nice wrapped three times (choker style), but I probably wouldn't use that style except with maybe a strapless dress because the look is very eye-catching.

I'm not entirely sure that this the best deal available here on Amazon. I do like the consistent quality I receive from the Amazon.com Collection and for me the price was right. I also know that if I were to have received this as a gift I would have been very happy and for me that's all that matters.

(More customer reviews)The pearls are beautiful they are very polished and it was amazing to see how very little blemishes they have and their size is just perfect for a gift they don't look cheap at all the only reason i gave it 4 stars is because it says that you are supposed to get a designer bag with it and the heart shaped clasp looks a bit frail in contrast with the high looking quality of the pearls but overall is EXCELLENT Quality. Recomendadas se ven muy bien no tienen practicamente ninguna verruga y las perlas se ven muy bien cultivadas, le di 4 estrellas porque el broche se ve un poco desproporcional en calidad comparado a las perlas, mas sin embargo el producto es fenomenal.

(More customer reviews)First, let me clarify that by giving this 3 stars, I mean only to say that the earrings were average.They neither exceeded my expectations nor were they a disappointment in any way.I think I read all of the reviews on this product before I bought it, and I admit I was a bit worried by the low price and certain comments (particularly about size).I realized after receiving my earrings that perhaps no one had been specific about size because it varies from one set to the next.For example, the black pearls were 5mm while the pink ones were 7mm.I assume that for another customer, these sizes would vary yet again, but probably within the same range.I actually happen to prefer that size range anyway, as my ears just don't support large studs.For the most part, I feel that each pair was well matched in size, though the black pearl pair that I received was a bit poorly matched for color.One is mostly blue, the other mostly purple.However, I did not find, as other reviewers did, that any of the colors were difficult to tell apart.I really feel that I received a good variety of color, and the price was certainly right.I will also post a customer photograph of the set I received so that you can see what I'm talking about.As yet another reviewer has said; this is an excellent set of starter pearls for those who don't want to spend a fortune.They are pretty and small, and a lovely variety.

7-7.5 mm Cultured Freshwater Pearl Necklace, 18" in length Review

(More customer reviews)I've been looking for an extremely affordable but nice looking pearl necklace that I can wear casually and this price (~$14) is unbeatable. When looked at closely, the pearls are not all perfectly/consistently round and are not as luminescent as they look in the picture, but from a comfortable personal-space-sized distance they look neat and round. I'd feel comfortable wearing this to work and to nice dinners, but will probably be on the lookout for a pearl necklace with a brighter shine and slightly rounder and larger pearls. The description says these are potato-shaped pearls of medium luster and it's pretty accurate. You can barely tell they're potato-shaped but I wish the luster was a little higher, though the pearls are nicely smooth.

Update:
The "8-9 mm Freshwater Knotted Pearl Necklace, 18" also by Amour (the same company) is a much better deal when choosing between these 2, in my opinion. I left a more comparative review on that product page.
