Sterling Silver Engraved Flower 4-Picture Oval Locket, 20" Review

(More customer reviews)I bought this locket for my mother for Christmas. She loves it and it is very beautiful. I decided to put pictures in it before I gave it to her and this proved to be a difficult task. The locket is difficult to open without warping the clasp and even more difficult to insert pictures into. Maybe there is a trick to it that I wasn't aware of, but this the first and last locket I will purchase. I had to remove the clear plastic photo shield on the front cover with a needle before inserting the first photo. I scratched the clear shield so much that I just threw it out. Inserting the photos in the middle piece was a little easier, but I just gave up on the back photo and left it empty for her. The locket is definitely beautiful, but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone with very little patience.

With a gold 16 inch rope chain it falls right at the collarbone so it can be seen with any polo or scoop neck style shirt.It is not the same on the back as it is on the front, however. The front is smooth but the back is indented, and that is where the gold stamp is. So it can only be worn the one way. I assumed it was completely solid-but it is still a nice piece--very sturdy.

(More customer reviews)When I received this bracelet, I was happy with the look.It was pretty and the photo heart was an appropriate size.Well, when I tried to insert the picture into the heart, it was next to impossible!A heart is not an easy shape to cut a small picutre into, anyway, but this was insane!!When I finally did get the picture into it, I could not get the plastic cover back on.When I did, it ended up looking really cheap. This bracelet was good in theory, just not good in reality.Next time I will buy a necklace with an oval locket!
